Arnaldo Romera has 10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate finance and business development. His consulting background was built through several projects (strategy, corporate finance, turnarounds, organizational restructurings and corporate governance) in key economic sectors (Telecom, IT, Financial Services and Industrial Goods) over Latin America.

He worked closely with Private Equity players, including the formation of one investment fund (Promon Cap). In 2009, he led the deal of the sale of a national company (revenues over R$100M/year) to an international conglomerate (NYSE-listed company).

He is one of the founding members of the Brazilian Center of Studies of PE/VC (GVcepe), with a leading role on the first assessment of Portfolio Management practices of PE funds in Brazil.

Before joining VPB, AR was a management consultant for 5 years with the Boston Consulting Group and Value Partners.  He also was a project manager at Banco Santander and started his career at Promon Group, working for 4 years in corporate finance/M&A, business development and strategic planning. In parallel with his consulting career, Arnaldo oversees an investment company focused on Real Estate in the state of SP.

He holds a Business Administration degree from EAESP at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
