Eduardo Giuliani has 10 years of experience in venture capital, having performed different roles: fund manager at international firms, financial advisor to early stage growing firms and start-up entrepreneur. During his career he analyzed more than 400 deals. His investment focus is in enterprise software and clean technologies, uncluding biofuels.

He also works as a consultant in venture capital supporting businessmen in strategy, business plan, financial structuring and organizational issues. His clients are in software, hardware, telecom, services, education, retail and agribusiness.

In 2005 he helped Senior Solution in funding from Stratus Investimentos, BNDES and BNDESPar, after 3 years of consulting support in strategy, financial structuring and acquisitions. As an investor he planned, managed and shut down the DVD delivery start-up Pratic Vídeo. He previously worked in the formation of 3 investment funds in technology and infra-structure: Latin Partners (Draper Fisher Jurvetson), Promon Cap and CDB Web Tech (DeBenedetti).

Before founding VPB, EG was a Principal at Advent International where he led the analytical/strategic investment in Microsiga Software (Totvs: TOTS3).He started his career as a management consultant and worked for 6 years with McKinsey, Monitor and Roland Berger. In parallel with his consulting career Eduardo manages a farm in cattle and sugar cane in the Pantanal State (MS).

He is an industrial engineer from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, MBA from Harvard Business School and an ex-professor in corporate finance at FGV-SP.
